Welcome to Champion Tattoo Company, a newly reimagined tattoo studio located in Champion, Ohio.
Under new ownership by John “Big John” Cummings and Samantha B, the shop has been completely refreshed while honoring the legacy of one of the area’s long-standing tattoo locations.
Our mission is simple: provide high-quality tattoos and professional body piercings in a clean, welcoming environment where artistry, safety, and respect for our clients always come first.
With decades of combined experience in the tattoo and piercing industry throughout Trumbull and Mahoning County, our team is proud to bring renewed energy to this location while continuing the tradition of great tattooing in the Champion community.

Our Story
A new chapter in 2026 when the studio was acquired and renovated by local artists John Cummings and Samantha B.
Many locals remember this shop as Fat Cats Tattoo, a long-standing tattoo shop in Champion. The new owners felt it was important to respect that history while giving the studio a fresh start.
The shop has been fully renovated with new flooring, lighting, sinks, and updated workspaces, creating a clean and modern environment while maintaining the spirit of a traditional tattoo shop.
John and Samantha are also the owners of:
• 1st Order Tattoo Company – Niles, Ohio
Operating since 2018 with a team of talented tattoo artists.
• B. Opulent Studios – Warren, Ohio
The first independent body piercing studio in Trumbull County, dedicated exclusively to professional body piercing and quality jewelry.
Champion Tattoo Company is now the third location in their growing network of professional tattoo and piercing studios.
Our Artists
John “Big John” Cummings
Tattooing since 2007, John is known for his bold style, large color work, and cover-up tattoos. With years of experience working across Mahoning and Trumbull County, John has tattooed at conventions, earned awards, and built a reputation for strong, lasting tattoos. His relaxed personality and passion for tattooing make every session a great experience.
Marc Warnick
Marc Warnick is recognized worldwide for his distinct tattoo style rooted in neo-traditional influences. His artistic imagination and decades of experience have taken him across the United States and internationally. Originally trained in the Rust Belt tattoo scene of the early 1990s, Marc’s steady hand and creative vision allow him to tackle everything from classic designs to fully custom tattoo work.
Body Piercers
Samantha B
Samantha has been professionally piercing since 2018 and is known throughout the region for her attention to detail, client care, and curated ear styling. She is also the founder of B. Opulent Studios, the first independent body piercing studio in Trumbull County.
Noelle B
Noelle began her piercing career under Samantha’s mentorship and has quickly developed a reputation for her professionalism, gentle technique, and passion for helping clients feel confident in their piercings. She works alongside Samantha as part of the B. Opulent piercing team.
